Project on Capacity Development
for the Implementation of Economic Census 2018 in Nepal
"Project on Capacity Development for the Implementation of Economic Census 2018 in Nepal", which mainly cooperates for the success of the first-ever Economic Census in Nepal (This includes technical assistance for e-Census which is the first time for the official statistical surveys in Nepal.), has been implemented from 6 March 2016 to 5 March 2021. (However, the statistical experts have practically been dispatched since 27 December 2015.) This project has been implemented by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal and has been supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Jointly, the Statistics Bureau of Japan has been playing the primary role in the aspect of technical assistance in this project.
