About Urayasu City

Urayasu City is located in the northwestern part of the Chiba prefecture, adjacent to Tokyo and facing Tokyo Bay.
Urayasu consists of two parts: the original fishing village on Tokyo Bay, and the newer reclaimed land.
In the Maihama area, which lies on reclaimed land, there are world famous theme parks, hotels and a large shopping mall. The area attracts guests from all parts of the world.

Normally, it is warm and low-rainfall in May in Chiba prefecture. Average daily temperature is 18.3?C, high 22.3?C, low 14.8?C. It is one of the best seasons for visiting.
