18:00 - 20:00 Welcome Reception

The first Ottawa Group 2015 event is a welcome reception with light food and drink. The reception will be at "The Bay Lounge" on the 12th floor of Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel, the conference venue. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Tokyo Bay while reception.

18:00 - 19:30 Mini-guided tour of the Urayasu City Folk Museum

The open-air exhibition in the museum shows a re-created townscape of the time around 1952. You can experience old Urayasu city as it was when it was a fisherman's town.

19:30 - 21:30 Reception hosted by Statistics Bureau of Japan

Reception (all participants are invited) will be held at the room "The Club Fuji" on the 1st floor of Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel, the conference venue. Enjoy a pleasant dinner and have fruitful talks.

18:00 - 21:30 Boat tour in Tokyo Bay and Dinner

The Japanese traditional houseboat, "Yakatabune," will take you around Tokyo Bay (for those who are interested). The city lights at night of Tokyo will attract you and you can have dinner (It includes drinks and Japanese-style foods.) on the boat.

Note: Attendees are expected to pay their own costs to board the boat. It costs 5,000 JPY (incl. dinner).
