The 3rd Training in Japan

7 officials from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) visited Japan from 29 September to 20 October.

After the courtesy call on the Director-General of the Statistical Survey Department of the Statistics Bureau of Japan (SBJ), they learned various topics such as the ?Population Census?, ?Labour Force Survey?, ?Family Income and Expenditure Survey?, ?Survey on Time Use and Leisure Activities?, ?Statistical GIS? and ?Open data?.

The officials from CAPMAS also presented various surveys in Egypt and exchanged views with SBJ staff.
 
Furthermore, they took a trip to Wakayama to learn experiences and information on the statistical activities and systems of the Wakayama Prefectural Government and exchanged views with prefectural officers. They also visited the Statistical Data Utilization Center in Wakayama.
