Mr. Suzuki, State Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications, met with Mr. Vu Dai Thang, Vice Minister for Planning and Investment of Vietnam (July 2019)
From July 28 to 31, Mr. Suzuki, State Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications visited Hanoi, Vietnam, at the invitation of the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam. On July 29 he visited the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam (MPI) to which the General Statistics Office of Vietnam (GSO) belonged and held a meeting with Mr. Vu Dai Thang, Vice Minister for Planning and Investment of Vietnam.
At the meeting, in the presence of Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Deputy Director General of the GSO, it was confirmed that the cooperation based on "the Memorandum of Cooperation on Introduction of ICT System for Official Statistics between Statistics Bureau of Japan and the General Statistics Office of Vietnam", which had been signed on August 2018, will be promoted.
