New release of the Statistical Handbook of Japan 2026
The Statistical Handbook of Japan 2026 is designed to provide a clear and coherent overview of present-day Japan through statistics. It provides statistical tables, figures, maps, and photographs to portray conditions in modern-day Japan from a variety of perspectives, including demographics, economic and social trends, and culture. This Handbook is published annually in September and the latest version is accessible at the following website.

The Participants of the "Next Leaders for Statistics and DX Exchange Program 2026" visited the Statistics Bureau of Japan
On October 8, ten participants of the "Next Leaders for Statistics and DX Exchange Program 2026" visited the Statistics Bureau of Japan (SBJ) as part of the program. They received lectures on the "Overview of the SBJ" and "Portal Site of Official Statistics (e-Stat)."
