New release of the "Statistical Observations of Prefectures 2026"
The "Statistical Observations of Prefectures" presents major data by prefectures which were selected from the social indicators in the System of Social and Demographic Statistics (SSDS), and recompiles such information to allow that indicators be observed by prefectures at a glance. It includes 406 social indicators.
This report is published annually in February, and the latest version is accessible at the following website.

Exchange Seminar between U.S. Census Bureau and SBJ
On March 4, two statistical officials from the U.S. Census Bureau visited the SBJ and had an exchange seminar. Both sides shared their experiences and exchanged opinions regarding Population Census.
