Conducting of 2024 Economic Census for Business Frame
The SBJ is conducting the 2024 Economic Census for Business Frame, with June 1, 2024 as the survey date.
The Economic Census consists of two surveys, the "Economic Census for Business Frame" and the "Economic Census for Business Activity," which identifies the situation of economic activities of establishments and enterprises. Each survey is implemented every five years, respectively.
The purpose of the Economic Census for Business Frame is to survey the situation of economic activities of establishments and enterprises and clarify their basic structure on a national and regional level in Japan, as well as to develop the Statistical Business Register for various statistical surveys of establishments and enterprises.
The 4th Dispatch of Mission Team on Development of Time Use Survey and Statistical Methods (Including SDGs Indicators) Using IT for CAPMAS
The SBJ dispatched the 4th mission team from 26 to 30 May, 2024. The mission team discussed and shared opinions with Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) of Egypt to plan the 4th training in Japan and future cooperation. During the mission, seminars were held to share information on status of statistical surveys as well as challenges and future plans in both Egypt and Japan. Further, the SBJ observed a field survey for Economic Census conducted by CAPMAS in Damietta city.
