Technical Cooperation for Cambodia's 2008 General Population Census
The SBJ has been providing technical cooperation to the National Institute of Statistics (NIS) of Cambodia since August 2005 in order to improve official statistics in Cambodia.
On September 7, 2009, the NIS released the final results of the 2008 General Population Census. The SBJ has been supporting the implementation and data processing of the Census by dispatching SBJ staff who have expertise in this field.
The SBJ hopes that the results will be widely utilized in policy-making such as social and economic development, poverty reduction, and so on.
