On December 14, Prof. Paul Cheung, Professor of Social Policy and Analytics at the National University of Singapore (Former the Director of the United Nations Statistics Division) visited the Statistics Bureau of Japan. After exchanging greetings with the senior officials for statistics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications(MIC), he gave a lecture titled "The Future of Official Statistics in the era of Big Data and Sustainable Development".
