A former official at Statistics Austria visited Statistics Bureau of Japan (March 15, 2017)
On March 15, 2017, Mr. Norbert Rainer, a former official at Statistics Austria, came to the Statistics Bureau of Japan (SBJ) and gave a lecture on business registers as part of an international workshop on business registers hosted by the Japan Statistics Research Institute.
In the afternoon workshop session, after a courtesy call to the Director-General of SBJ, Mr. Rainer provided a lecture for SBJ staff under the theme of "Guidelines on Statistical Business Registers," and an active discussion was held.
After the session, SBJ staff involved in business registers participated in an exchange of opinions on business registers.
