4th Training in Japan
11 officials from Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) visited SBJ from 3 to 13 December. After courtesy call for the Director-General of the SBJ, they learned "Statistical report description method," "Outline of the recent result of Time Use and Leisure Activities Survey in Japan," "Overview of the Economic Census for Business Activity," "Overview of Business frame database for Economic Census," and several other topics. They also visited the Rissho University and the Institute of Statistical Mathematics, and learned extensively about statistics. Furthermore, they visited Chiba City and deepened their understanding on the statistical activities of local governments. In addition, the officials from CAPMAS presented their statistical surveys in Egypt and exchanged views with SBJ staff and others.
