The 7th Vietnam Statistical Delegation to Japan (June 2026)
The 7th Statistical Delegation from Vietnam, headed by Dr. Nguyen Thi Huong, Director General, National Statistics Office of Vietnam (NSO), visited Japan from June 8 to 12, 2026.
Following an exchange of greetings with the senior officials of the SBJ, they discussed several topics with the SBJ officials on "Experience on Consumption Survey," furthermore, with officials from the Ministry of Justice on "Proportion of the Population Subjected to Violence."
After that, the delegation visited Statistical Data Utilization Center in Wakayama Prefecture and discussed concerning "Briefing on Statistical Data Utilization Center."
The delegation is based on the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) between NSO (formerly General Statistics Office) and SBJ which was signed on January 14, 2015, to establish the basis for in depth cooperation between the two sides in the area of official statistics and other related fields of mutual interests.
