The 3rd Japanese Statistical Delegation to Vietnam (September 2025)
The 3rd Japanese Statistical Delegation to Vietnam headed by Mr. IWASA Tetsuya, Senior Adviser for Advanced Statistical Data Utilization, Statistics Bureau of Japan (SBJ) visited Vietnam from 22 to 26 September 2025.
They had discussions with the officials of National Statisics Office of Vietnam (NSO) concerning "Issues in conducting statistical surveys", "Latest challenges on ICT" and "Human resource development of statistical experts."
In addition, the delegation visited Ninh Binh Provincial Statistics Office and exchanged information about statistical works in local area.
The delegation exchange is based on the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) between NSO (formerly General Statistics Office) and SBJ which was signed on January 14, 2015, to establish the basis for in depth cooperation between the two sides in the area of official statistics and other related fields of mutual interests.
