The 6th Vietnam Statistical Delegation to Japan (September 2024)

The 6th Statistical Delegation from Vietnam, headed by Dr. Nguyen Thi Huong, Director-General, General Statistics Office of Vietnam (GSO), visited Japan from September 9 to 13, 2024.
Following an exchange of greetings with the senior officials of the SBJ, they discussed several topics with the SBJ staff on "Statistical organization and system," "Office administration and management," and "Statistics training for general through the internet" etc.
The delegation visited Statistical Research and Training Institute (SRTI) and discussed concerning "Outline of statistics training."

The visit is based on the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) between GSO and SBJ which was signed on January 14, 2015, to establish the basis for in depth cooperation between the two sides in the area of official statistics and other related fields of mutual interests.
