Mr. Muto, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications, meets with Mr. Nguyen Van Trung, Vice Minister for Planning and Investment of Vietnam (August 2015)
From August 26 to 27, Mr. Muto, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications visited Hanoi, Vietnam, at the invitation of the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam. On August 26 he visited the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam (MPI) to which the General Statistics Office of Vietnam (GSO) belonged and held a meeting with Mr. Nguyen Van Trung, Vice Minister for Planning and Investment of Vietnam.
At the meeting, in the presence of Mr. Nguyen Bich Lam, Director-General of the GSO, it was confirmed that the cooperation based on "the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Statistics Bureau of Japan and the General Statistics Office of Vietnam", which had been signed on January 2015, will be promoted.
