The 2nd Japanese Statistical Delegation to Mongolia (June 2024)

  The 2nd Japanese Statistical Delegation to Mongolia headed by Mr. MIZUNO Yasuhisa, Director-General, Statistical Research and Training Institute, visited Mongolia from June 3 to 7, 2024.

  The delegation visited National Statistical Office of Mongolia (NSO). After exchanging greetings with Mr. Batdavaa Batmunkh, Chairman of NSO, they had discussions with the NSO staff concerning official statistical system, human resource and recent efforts in household surveys.
  In addition, the delegation visited Tuv province statistics office, and exchanged information about statistical works in local area.

  The delegation based on the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) between NSO and SBJ, which was signed on February 2017 to establish the basis for in depth cooperation between both sides in the area of official statistics and other related fields of mutual interests.
