"Total disputes" is sum of the disputes accompanied by dispute acts andthe disputes unaccompanied by dispute acts but mediated by a third party such as labour relations commissions. "Employeesaffected" refer to the maximum number of employees of unions or workers' group during the duration of the labour dispute,irrespective of being involved in dispute acts or not, and "Employees involved" refer to the number of persons actuallyengaged in dispute acts. Up to two major demands in a labour dispute are listed as the principal issues.
