Housing and Land Survey

3. Dwelling Environment and Type of City Planning

Width and Road Abutting on the Site

An inquiry was made on the width and state of pavement of roads abutted on the site of housing unit.
The width includes those of sidewalks and gutters, and when there are two or more roads abutted on, then the widest one should be chosen to mention.
If the site of housing unit is abutted only on a vacant lot or a park but not on any road, or if the site touched on the road for a length less than 2 meters only, then it should be defined as "not abutted on". However, if the site is adjacent to an open ground such as a station square, such a ground should be regarded as a road of 10 meters and over wide just for convenience sake provisionally.
