The number of enterprises increased by "30 million yen and over" capital size.
Enterprises with capital of "less than 30 million yen" accounted for more than 90 percent of the total.
The number of enterprises increased in capital segments of "30 million yen and over" , whereas it decreased in capital segments of"less than 30 million yen" in comparison with the result of 1996 survey.
