23rd Japanese Statistical Mission to Korea
The 23rd Japanese Statistical Mission headed by Mr. YOSHIZAKI Kensuke, Director-General of the Statistical Survey Department, SBJ, visited Korea from 27 October to 1 November 2008.
The mission exchanged views with the officers of the Korea National Statistical Office on such themes as the plan for the Population and Housing Census, improvement of the business survey frame database, providing microdata files for research purposes, and statistical activities at the local government level.
The delegation also visited the Busan Metropolitan City Government and the Seoul Local Statistics Office to collect information on local statistical activities.
