The 24th Korean Statistical Mission to Japan
Exchange Program between Korea and Japan
Japan and Korea have been cooperating with each other by dispatching and inviting a group of statistical experts since the 1970s. The exchange program was begun in 1982. The main purpose of this program is to learn from each other to develop official statistics for both central and local governments. We have discussed our experiences and challenges with regard to statistical circumstances, such as the organization, management, survey execution, tabulation and data dissemination.
