Mr. Harada, State Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications visited Mongolia (May, 2017)
From May 1 to 3, 2017, Mr. Harada, State Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications, visited Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. On May 2, he visited the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia to which the National Statistics Office of Mongolia (NSO) belongs and held meetings with Mr. Dendev Terbishdagva, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Economics and Member of the Parliament of Mongolia, Mr. Sandag Byambatsogt, Minister of Justice and Home Affairs and Member of the Parliament of Mongolia, and Ms. Batmunkh Battsetseg, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs.
At the meeting, in the presence of Ms. Ariunzaya Ayush, Chair of the NSO, it was confirmed that the cooperation based on "the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Statistics Bureau of Japan and the National Statistics Office of Mongolia," which was signed on February 2017, will be promoted and Mr. Harada asked Ms. Battsetseg for the support for hosting the 2025 World Exposition in Japan.
Also, Mr. Harada visited the NSO to discuss areas of future cooperation with Ms. Ariunzaya.
