Summary of Yearly Average Results
(1) Expenditures for Two-or-more-person Households
The yearly average of monthly consumption expenditures per household for 2009 was 291,737 yen, down 1.7% in nominal terms and down 0.2% in real terms from the previous year.
(2) Income and Expenditures for Workers' Households
The yearly average of monthly income per household stood at 518,226 yen, down 3.0% in nominal terms and down 1.5% in real terms from the previous year.
The yearly average of monthly Consumption expenditures was 319,060 yen, down 1.8% in nominal terms and down 0.3% in real terms from the previous year.
