Summary of Yearly Average Results
(1) Expenditures for Two-or-more-person Households
The yearly average of monthly consumption expenditures per household for 2010 was 290,244 yen, down 0.5% in nominal terms but up 0.3% in real terms from the previous year.
(2) Income and Expenditures for Workers' Households
The yearly average of monthly income per household stood at 520,692 yen, up 0.5% in nominal terms and up 1.3% in real terms from the previous year.
The yearly average of monthly consumption expenditures was 318,315 yen, down 0.2% in nominal terms but up 0.6% in real terms from the previous year.
