"Project on Improving Official Statistics in Cambodia, Phase III",
which mainly cooperates to the first-ever Economic Census in Cambodia,
has been implementing from 9 October 2010 to 31 March 2015.
While this project is implemented by the National Institute of Statistics (NIS)
Cambodia and is supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA),
the Statistics Bureau of Japan plays the primary role.
The main activities of the project phase III are as below. Additionally, the project Phase I which mainly cooperated to statistical training was implemented from 28 August 2005 to 31 March 2007, and the project Phase II which mainly cooperated to 2008 Population Census and 2009 Nation-wide Establishment Listing of Cambodia was implemented from 23 April 2007 to 30 September 2010. |
